Meet Jandy Beresford, Lactation Consultant

JANDY BERESFORD
Like most lactation consultants, it was her own struggles to breastfeed her first child that helped Jandy find the passion for working with breastfeeding families. After having two children, putting it off and finally making the decision, Jandy returned to the International Breastfeeding Centre and began studying to become a lactation consultant in 2014. In 2018 Jandy qualified as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant.
Currently, she works in private practice in the Durham region as well as at IBC both with clients and training students.
Aside from breastfeeding, Jandy has a passion for Babywearing and is a certified Babywering Educator.
Jandy loves working with families to help them establish their breastfeeding relationship both before baby arrives and once baby is here! She also loves working to help parents troubleshoot issues that come up later on.
