Osteopathy Services

What is osteopathy?

Osteopathic manual practitioners gently manipulate parts of the body that are in pain or inflamed to restore balance in your body to help it heal.

From discomfort that just won’t go away or a sudden injury that prevents you from participating in the activities you enjoy, manual osteopathy could be an effective approach to relieve your pain and get you moving again

Practitioners work with both the mechanical and the fluidic movements of the body to encourage the flow of fluids, liberate tissues that are bordering or in direct contact to the areas of restrictions, improve the micro-movements of structures to gain the macro-movements and assist it in using its own self-regulating and self-healing mechanisms. When the systems are working optimally, the body can have the opportunity to self-heal while continuously combatting the demands of the internal and external environments.

A thorough evaluation will help decide the therapeutic strategy for each individual.
